WLL was founded in 1958 by one of Qatar’s pioneering business
families. Established by late Mr. Abdullah Abdulghani Nasser,
Mr. Abduljaleel Abdulghani Nasser and late Mr. Abdulghani
Abdulghani Nasser, the Company was originally founded as part of
the nation’s growing modern infrastructure, dealing in
construction and trading in building materials.
From their present height of achievement as one of the most
successful franchises in the Middle East, Abdullah Abdulghani &
Bros. Co. WLL has always drawn from the foundations of this
corporate heritage – a solid partnership with the Toyota Motor
Corporation as exclusive distributor in Qatar since 1964. |

As one of the forerunners of successful businesses in Qatar,
they have established a name for themselves as a pillar of the
business community in which they are admired for their sound
business sense and ethics – a reputation earned through honesty
and friendship with their customers, business partners and

From their modest beginnings with only 30 staff and nominal
sales, AAB has grown to more than 1650 staff and annual sales
soaring to surpass the 10,000 mark. |

the automobile field. The Company is controlled by a Board of
Directors currently consisting of Mr. Abdulrahman Abdullah
Abdulghani – Chairman, Dr. Nasser Abdulghani Abdulghani – Vice
Chairman and Mr. Abdulrahman Abduljaleel Abdulghani – Managing
Director.
Changing with the needs of time and bringing more
professionalism to the system, AAB has undertaken a major BPR
(Business Process Reengineering) program in order to focus on
the challenges ahead, keeping in tone and line with the
Principal’s leading position in the world and aiming for a 45%
market share by the year 2006.
