The platform and suspension were tested and tuned to optimise driving in diverse and demanding conditions. A choice of engines, a powerful 3.0-litre V6 or a nimble 2.4 litre engine with VVT-i, sport advanced technologies. The flow of power they generate is complemented by a choice of

smooth- shifting 4- speed automatic transmissions.

To ensure a whisper quite interior, even when driving at high speeds, every facet of wind flow was refined. the body structure was also optimised to reduce noise and vibration.

Both the front and rear suspension use MacPherson struts, with L- shaped lower arms on the front and dual- link type lower arms on the rear, and feature gas- filled shock absorbers with a stabilizer bar. Each component of the suspension was refined to optimise the suspension geometry; and tuned to suppress undesirable vehicle movement and enhance ride comfort.
